Maximize Your Outdoor Space

Maximize Your Outdoor Space

Even if you only have a small backyard or a patio, you can make it comfortable and welcoming for you and your visitors. That way, you won't have to go to the nearest park every time you feel like enjoying some fresh air. Here are some of the best ways to maximize your outdoor space.

Add a bar: Placing a bar or a multiuse table in the corner of your yard or patio will make entertaining easier and give you more space for plants and decor. Look for a small table with a cabinet below it for more storage space. You can also use your new bar to store pet toys, cleaning supplies, or other items.

Take advantage of vertical space: Adding some shelves and tall plants like bamboo, trees, or climbing vines will make your patio or yard look bigger by drawing your eyes upward. It will also let you use all the space you have.

Add greenery: You can make a fence or wall more eye-catching by adding small plants. Hang them from shower hooks on your trellis or fence posts.

Use black: Painting your fence or your porch railing black will make it seem to disappear into the background. Your yard or patio will look more spacious, and enjoying the view will be easier. Black also looks great with a variety of styles.
