Procreate: Procreate allows you to create up to 128 layers, 250 levels of "undo" and "redo," and over one hundred brush options that can be customized. This is a high-quality, professional-style art app. Cost: $5.99 2. Affinity Designer: Affinity Designer is built to work on both mobile and desktop devices and it's not only a professional drawing platform but also a vector graphics design program. On a tablet, you'll have pressure control, title, and angle sensitivity as well as a variety of file types and formatting options. Cost: $19.99 3. Tayasui Sketches: Tayasui Sketches is designed to make you feel like you're drawing on paper and offers a large variety of mediums from ink to pencil to watercolor. This is a great free app that has a ton of user-friendly features such as gesture control, and even more features are available via in-app purchases. Cost: Free 4. Artflow: Artflow is an Android-specific art studio that has both a free version and paid upgrades. However, the free version is a great baseline app for beginners, offering nine customizable brushes and support for two layers. The upgrades only expand on brushes, layer numbers, stylus pressure options, and custom palettes. Cost: Free (with option for paid upgrade to Pro Version) 5. Infinite Painter: This free app offers over 80 brushes, infinite layers, a multitude of textures, color blending, gradient tools, and more.
