Habit Aware Bracelet

Habit Aware Bracelet

Do you find yourself engaging in bad habits and looking for a way to break yourself of them? The Keen Habit Aware bracelet can make you more aware when it comes to body-focused repetitive behaviors such as hair pulling, skin picking, and nail biting.

The concept for the bracelet began more than two decades ago when co-founder Aneela Idnani Kumar struggled with compulsive hair pulling. After creating the prototype, the Keen Habit Aware bracelet became available to the public.

The bracelet is designed to build awareness around unwanted physical movements involving your wrists. It's best suited for children age 8 and older as well as adults who want to change their behaviors. The bracelet doesn't prevent unwanted behavior from occurring, but it makes you aware of what your hands are doing.

Once you take the bracelet out of the box, you pair it with the app by performing your specific unwanted behavior for 15 seconds. For instance, if you bite your nails, you train your Keen by biting your nails. The Keen's sensors record your repetitive behavior and silently monitor your hand movements. Once it recognizes your behavior, it sends a silent vibration to your wrist whenever you do the behavior.

The Keen can program up to four behaviors to monitor if you have several habits that are bothersome. You can also modify or delete these trained habits at any time. Keep in mind that the battery on the Keen lasts a full day, so you will want to charge the bracelet daily.

If you're looking for a way to rid yourself of some repetitive behaviors, consider purchasing the Keen Habit Aware bracelet. It can make you more self-aware of these habits and help you train yourself to stop them.
