The holidays can be a frenetic time of year. So much so, that we felt it necessary to share an important perspective. From our friends at Simple Truths, we proudly present, "To a Child, Love is Spelled T-I-M-E."

Time is a precious commodity. This is even truer during the holiday season when there's a lot to do in a short amount of time. But that's only half the equation. The holidays are also about connecting with the people we care about most – our family and our friends.

In the video, the young boy honored the day he spent with his father while it was happening. Unfortunately for the father, he was too distracted to do the same. By the time the father appreciated the fishing excursion with his child, it was too late. The moment had become a memory.

Before this holiday season turns into a memory, we encourage all of you to step back from the hectic pace of life and recognize the people you care about most. You don't need to do or say anything specific. You only need to share your time with them. Appreciate the moments while you're experiencing them and always remember the following quote from the video:
