3 Creative Peeps Recipes

3 Creative Peeps Recipes

With spring right around the corner, you might suddenly find your house overrun by Peeps. If you don't think you can handle eating any more of those marshmallow treats on their own, check out some of these creative Peeps recipes to try.

Peeps Skillet S'Mores Dip
  • 1 teaspoon of butter
  • 12-ounce bag of semisweet chocolate chips
  • 24 Peeps
  • 1 package of graham crackers
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and spread the butter in an 8-inch oven-safe skillet. Pour the chocolate chips into the skillet and top with Peeps to cover the chocolate.

Bake until the chocolate just starts to melt and the Peeps are lightly toasted, typically about 5 to 10 minutes. Use a graham cracker square to scoop out the chocolate and Peeps and make a s'more.

Peep Smoothie

For a quick, refreshing, and cool drink, consider creating a Peep smoothie.
  • 8 ice cubes
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 3/4 cup of water
  • 6 ounces of frozen lemonade concentrate
  • 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 3 Peeps
Blend all the ingredients in a blender until smooth.

Chocolate Covered Bunnies On a Stick

If you have bunny Peeps instead of chick Peeps, you can use them to make chocolate-covered bunnies on a stick.
  • 10 wooden pop sticks
  • 10 Peep bunnies
  • 1/2 cup of chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon of sprinkles
Line a baking sheet with waxed paper and put a bunny on each wooden stick. Place the chocolate chips in a glass bowl and heat in the microwave until just melted. Stir the chocolate until it's smooth.

Dip each bunny into the melted chocolate until you coat every side and place on the baking sheet. Toss some sprinkles on for decoration and place in the freezer until the chocolate is set, usually about 5 minutes.
