Hey Now, You're a Wrap Star

If you’ve ever devoured the lettuce wraps on the starter menu at a P.F. Chang’s restaurant, you’re going to love this copycat recipe—ready in less than 20 minutes!

For a vegetarian-friendly version, simply swap the protein with a package of your favorite meatless ground from Yves or Boca brands.

Chicken Lettuce Wraps
Serves 4

1 tablespoon olive oil
1 pound ground chicken
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 yellow onion, diced
1/4 cup hoisin sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
1 teaspoon Sriracha, or more, to taste
1 (8-ounce) can whole water chestnuts, drained and diced
2 green onions, thinly sliced
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 head lettuce (butter, iceberg or romaine hearts)

Instructions
Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium high heat. Season ground chicken with salt and pepper and cook until browned, about 3 to 5 minutes, then drain excess fat. Stir in garlic, onion, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, ginger and Sriracha until onions have become translucent, about two minutes. Stir in water chestnuts and green onions until tender, about two minutes. Spoon several tablespoons of the mixture into the center of a lettuce leaf to serve. This recipe also tastes great served burrito style in a tortilla with your favorite fixings.
