When flip phones first hit the market in the late 1990s, it seemed like everyone had one. They were compact, easy to carry in your pocket, and the "it" phone. One of the most popular flip phones during that time was the super-thin and metallic Motorola Razr, which was released in the early 2000s. In fact, the phone was so popular that the company sold more than 130 million devices in just four years. If you're feeling nostalgic for your old flip phone, you'll be interested to know they might be making a comeback. Reports say that Lenovo, which now owns the Motorola brand, has plans to bring back the Razr flip phone. Although details about the phone are currently limited, including what size screen it will have and if it will be able to support a 5G network, it will supposedly have a foldable screen. Additionally, it will likely have a price tag starting at $1,500. When asked to comment about the rumors of a new Razr, Motorola cheekily replied with a video of the company's logo and the shrug emoticon. If you're itching to get your hands on a flip phone again, keep in mind that Motorola isn't the only company looking to bring back this classic piece of hardware. Samsung might also announce a new foldable phone after the recent announcement of its foldable tablet. Also, rumors have been swirling that LG is looking to release its own flip device. With so many options potentially hitting the market in the coming years, it might only be a matter of time before everyone is running around with a flip phone again. Source: USA Today
